DAY 1 |

Introduction. | Students will become acquainted with their fellow Business Campers, Camp Coaches and the virtual forum. Camp Coaches will discuss what it means to be an entrepreneur and go through basic business principles. |
Visualisation Boards. | Camp Coaches will invite students to create visual goals and create a digital visualisation board based on their vision for their life. |
Ideation Introduction. | Students will identify problems they see in their local community and brainstorm business solutions to solve it. |
30 Second Elevator Pitch. | Each student will be given the opportunity to present a solution to the whole cohort. Camp Coaches and fellow Business Campers will provide feedback and suggestions to students ideas. |
Elements of Business. | Students will watch an exciting, engaging and informative video explaining the different elements of a business and how they work together. |
Business Plan. | Students will choose one problem and one solution to form their business and will begin to develop a business plan through a mind map. |
Mini Debate. | Students will be able to engage in communication activities through a guided mini debate. |
Personal Development. | Students will learn about the importance of branding and will create their very own logo for their business. |
Soft Skills Skit. | Students will create and present a skit to showcase their business product or service to the cohort. |
DAY 2 |

Introduction. | Camp Coaches will outline and introduce students to the activities and breakdown of the day. |
Marketing Techniques. | Students will learn about Colour Psychology, Target Demographics and the 4 P’s. |
Infomercial. | Students will use marketing techniques to come up with a creative and innovative infomercial to market their product or service. Students will have the opportunity to film and edit their informercial and present to the cohort. |
Design. | Students will use a creative design platform to create a prototype of their business product or service. |
Critical Thinking. | Students will participate in a problem solving challenge. Students will have to identify strengths and weaknesses. |
Rotations. | Students will participate in 3 x rotations – slides, scripting or business budgeting. |
Young Entrepreneur Keynote. | Students will hear from a teenage entrepreneur who has generated more than $100,000 of revenue. They will be given the opportunity to ask questions and seek feedback. |
DAY 3 |

Introduction. | Camp Coaches will outline and introduce students to the activities and breakdown of the day. |
Financial Literacy. | Camp Coaches will discuss financial literacy and go through the importance of understanding profit and loss, budgeting and pricing. |
Mentoring. | Students will watch a presentation by a representative from the Westpac Davidson Institute. |
Critical Thinking. | Students will solve mock businesses financial problems through a series of scenario and role-play activities. |
Rotations. | Students will participate in 3 x rotations – slides, scripting or business budgeting. |
DAY 4 |

Introduction. | Camp Coaches will outline and introduce students to the activities and breakdown of the day. |
Rotations. | Students will participate in 3 x rotations – slides, scripting or business budgeting. |
Presentations. | Students will present their business or social change idea to a panel of guest judges. They will have 5 minutes to make their pitch – we will also allow for 5 minutes of judges questions and or feedback. |

DAY 5 |

Shark Tank. | Students will watch a series of successful and unsuccessful business pitches. |
Pitching Discussion. | Students will communicate and work with each other to build a guide to pitching effectively. |
Soft Skills | Students develop core soft skills that will assist them in all of their future endeavours. |
Public Speaking | Camp Coaches teach students about public speaking strategies, focusing on timbre, prosody, pace, eye contact, and pitch. |
Script + Powerpoint. | Students will have the opportunity to finalise their scripts and powerpoint. |
Presentation Practice. | Students will have time to present one-on-one to Camp Coaches to rehearse their pitches and receive feedback. |
